広島で生まれ育った菊池氏が「ウクレレの優しい音色でみなさんが笑顔になる社会、差別のない平和な社会に」と願いを込め、「ピースウクレレプロジェクト」を立ち上げられました。
そのプロジェクトの一環としてフルムーンおおのへ「ウクレレ」を寄付していただきました。
職員対象に譲渡会が行われ、廿日市市で活躍中のウクレレ奏者寺本氏の演奏を聞かせていただき、その優しい音色に心も体も幸せな世界につつまれていきました。近い将来、ウクレレの美しい音色を子どもたちに届けたいと思います。

Bringing peace to the world with the sound of the ukulele!
Mr. Kikuchi, who was born and raised in Hiroshima, launched the ” Ukulele Peace Project” with the hope that “the gentle sound of the ukulele will bring smiles to everyone’s faces and create a peaceful society without discrimination.
As part of this project, he donated a ukulele to Full Moon Ono.
The ukulele was given to the staff, who were treated to a performance by Mr. Teramoto, a ukulele player active in Hatsukaichi City. The gentle tones of the ukulele enveloped their hearts and bodies in a world of happiness.
We hope to bring the beautiful sounds of the ukulele to children in the near future.
