昨年の秋にSky（３歳児）が、どんぐり拾いに出かけ、その中の細長い種類の「どんぐり」を子どもたちと小さなプランターに植えました。
時々水をあげたり、草を抜いたりしていると、その甲斐あって３つのどんぐりのうち、見事に「１つ」発芽しました！
子どもたちは、まだ気づいていませんが、どの子が一番に気づくかな。
その時は、きっと驚いたり、喜んだりしてくれるのでは、と思います。もう少しおおきくなったら、園庭に植え替える予定です。
2021年度「フルムーンおおの」が開園し一年目の後の「どんぐり」が大きな大木になることを楽しみにしながら、園庭でしっかりと遊び、見守り、子どもたちと一緒に育てていきたいと思います。

Acorns have sprouted!

Last fall, Sky (3 years old) went out to pick acorns and planted some of the long, thin acorns in a small planter with the children.
After some watering and weeding, one of the three acorns sprouted!
The children have not noticed yet, but I wonder which one will be the first to notice.
I am sure they will be surprised and happy when they do. When they get a little bigger, we plan to replant them in the school yard.
We are looking forward to seeing the acorns grow into big trees after the first year of “Full Moon Ono” in 2021, and we will play with, watch over, and nurture them together with the children in the school yard.
