ご近所に住まれている庭師さんと共に、軽トラックから園庭に運び込んだものは「庭木の王様」と呼ばれる「モッコク」の切り株です。
ここまで立派なものはなかなか珍しいようで樹齢もかなり長いものです。本職でも、こんな大きいのは見た事がないと話されていました。
子どもたちは大喜び！早速、叩いたり、乗ってみたり、砂をかけたりと試すように遊んでいます。
これから先、子どもたちがどのような遊びに使っていくのかがとても楽しみです。

Guess what I hauled to the garden with a local gardener. A big Ternstroemia stump called, “King of garden trees.” It seems that such a fine thing is quite rare and the tree is quite tall. Even in my colleagues told me that they had never seen such a big one. The children were overjoyed! It was immediately a big hit. All of the kids were quickly climbing on it and piliing sand on it. I’m interested to see all the different kinds of play it leads to in the future.
