先週ご近所さんから「子どもたちにカメを見せてあげて」とイシガメをお借りしました。
カメの歩き方は独特で見るだけでも面白くつい触ってみたくなったり、突然動き出すと泣き出す子もいたりしました。園庭に放すと、はじめは緊張気味だったカメも徐々に歩き回り、子どもたちも興味津々で徐々にカメに対する緊張感もなくなり周りを囲むように一緒に歩き出しました。
金曜日には、ご近所さんへ連絡してお返ししましたが、すると子どもからこんな言葉が出ました。「なんでもう返したん！僕が面倒みようと思っていたのに！」たった４日間なのに、愛着ある言葉に感動です。
フルムーンは周囲の環境に恵まれていますから、次の出会いに期待したいと思います。

Here it is, have a great day! The Turtle
Last week, I borrowed a Japanese pond turtle from my neighbor to show to the children.
The way the turtle walks is unique, and it’s fun just to look at it, but some children start crying when it suddenly starts moving. When released into the garden, it was initially nervous, but gradually started walking around. The children are naturally curious, so gradually became interested. Eventually the children and turtle became comfortable with one another and started walking around together. On Friday, I contacted my neighbor and returned it,
Even though we had it for only four days, I was impressed to hear the kids say things like, “Why did you give it back! I was thinking of taking care of it!” It was music to my ears. Full Moon is blessed with the surrounding natural environment, so I’m always looking forward to the next encounter.
