子どもたちは新しいものが大好き！今までなかったものがあると、そこの場所に集まり、それを使ってとことん遊んでいきます。遊びながら、その物の形や、強度、広さ、質感など知っていきます。
先日、築山にデッキを作りました。築山の土が崩れないように土留めを作ることが最初の目的でしたが、同時に子どもたちが楽しめる遊びの場にもしたいと考え、このような形になりました。

Children love new things! When they see something that was not there before, they will gather in its place and play with it as much as they can. As they play, they learn about the shape, strength, size, and texture of the object.
The other day, we built a deck on a hill. The first purpose was to create a retaining wall to prevent the soil from collapsing, but at the same time, we wanted to make it a place for children to enjoy playing.
